When I click on "Discover Music" the results aren't that meaningful, why is that ?
TuneDNA relies on other people's contribution to come up with suggestions. Because TuneDNA has just been launched the number of contributions are increasing every day, however your current profile may not fit another one at the moment. Just wait a couple of days and use the discover function again as new profiles are available every day.
In manner to build your DNA TuneDNA uses your ratings and your PlayCounts. They are essential ingredients to use the Discover feature. If you haven't been using iTunes that much you should load your DNA from your iPod. To do so just plug it and select it after clicking on "Edit My DNA".
It pays off to rate your tracks, PlayCounts make only 50 % of your DNA, so make sure you rate your favorite tracks, going through 50 or so can greatly improve results.
When I download my latest DNA from the server some track information has changed.
In manner to standardize all musical references TuneDNA performs a "clean" of DNAs regularly with MusicBrainz, a centralized Musical MetaDatabase.
