Copy Music from Mac to PC using your iPod and TuneAid
Are you migrating from a Mac to a PC ?
You can use TuneAid to transfer your whole iTunes library from your Mac to your PC using your iPod :
If your iPod was used on a Mac it could be Mac formatted and PCs cannot read Mac formatted iPods. So you'll need to check if your iPod is Mac formated and if it is you'll have to format it for PCs
Grab your iPod and plug it into your PC. Open iTunes, if iTunes tells you it needs to restore your iPod go ahead. Remember that ALL it's content will be erased ! So make sure you've got all your Music on your Mac !
When the restore is done plug your iPod in your Mac
Sync your iPod from your Mac's iTunes library. If your iPod cannot hold your whole library just do it in batches. Set your iPod to "Manually manage Music and Videos", sort your library by Title and say, select all track from A to G and drop them on your iPod.
When itunes is done copying tracks to your iPod, plug your iPod in your PC, if iTunes asks you ANYTHING click on Cancel
Discover Music based on your personal preferences using TuneDNA.
