If you need to rebuild your iTunes Library from your iPod (HD crash, lost or swap computer). You’ve chosen the right software. TuneAid is aimed at making this process as smooth as possible, typically a single click will suffice to recover the media you cherish.
- Plug-in your iPod or iPhone, if iTunes asks you if you wish to Erase & Sync your iPod/iPhone click on “Cancel” (see Screen shot below).
- For “Classic” iPods (not for iPhone and iPod Touch) you must enable iPod “Disk Use” in iTunes.
- Launch TuneAid, wait until your iPod is detected.
- Click on “Copy to iTunes” then on “Whole iPod” at the message prompt.

That’s it! If TuneAid needs your attention because of improper iTunes setting or insufficient HD space it will let you know, so don’t worry about anything else!
