Getting Started With FileApp

There are two alternative ways to connect FileApp to your computer:

Getting Started via USB

  1. Download and install DiskAid on your computer and launch the application.
  2. Connect your device – if your are upgrading DiskAid 4.0 from a previous version, DiskAid might need to move some folders, this operation might take some time but should happen once only. Do not disconnect during this operation.
  3. The DiskAid window opens on two distinct panes with the controls on top.
    • The ‘Navigation’ pane (left) lists available folders, compatible applications and displays any shortcut created by the user.
    • The ‘Browser’ window shows the files and folders on the device corresponding to the element selected in the left pane.
  4. In order to copy a file or folder simply drag and drop it onto the FileApp or FileApp Pro icon.
  5. The file will appear in FileApp, it the app is already running, press the ‘refresh’ button in order to reflect changes.
