Create a shortcut in Microsoft Windows for your Wi-Fi connexion to your iPhone

How to create a “Network Location” in Windows 7, Vista and XP :

  1. Click on “Start menu”
  2. Right Click on “Computer” or “My Computer” and click on “Map Network Drive”
  3. Click on “Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures”
  4. Click “Next”
  5. Select “Choose a custome network location” and click “Next”
  6. Enter “ftp://x.x.x.x:2121″ in the field “Internet or network address” and click “Next”
  7. Check “Log on anonymously” if you have not set a Sharing Password otherwise enter your username / password
  8. Click “Next”
  9. Type a name for your network location like “iPhone” and click “Next”
  10. Click “Finish”

Now you can find a shortcut named “iPhone” in “Computer” or “My Computer” under “Network Location”.
