First download and install DiskAid and launch the application.
- Connect your device – if FileApp is installed on your device and your are upgrading DiskAid from a previous version, DiskAid might need to move some folders, this operation can take some time but should happen once only. Do not disconnect during this operation.
- The DiskAid window opens on two distinct panes with the controls on top:
- The ‘Navigation’ pane (left) lists available folders, compatible applications and displays any shortcut created by the user.
- The ‘Browser’ window shows the files and folders on the device corresponding to the element selected in the left pane.
- In order to copy a file or folder simply drag and drop the element onto the desired location on DiskAid’s Browser, or click the top ‘Copy to Device’ control, and then choose a file or folder and press ‘Open’ to copy files or folders to selected location.
- Conversely, in order to transfer documents from device to computer, drag and drop items from DiskAid’s Browser or click ‘Copy to PC/Mac’.
