Create a shortcut in Microsoft Windows for your Wi-Fi connexion to your iPhone
How to create a “Network Location” in Windows 7, Vista and XP :
- Click on “Start menu”
- Right Click on “Computer” or “My Computer” and click on “Map Network Drive”
- Click on “Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures” or click “Sign up for an online storage or connect to a network server”.
- Click “Next”
- Select “Choose a custome network location” or “Choose an other network location” and click “Next”
- Enter “ftp://x.x.x.x:2121″ in the field “Internet or network address” and click “Next”
- Check “Log on anonymously” if you have not set a Sharing Password otherwise enter your username / password
- Click “Next”
- Type a name for your network location like “FileApp” and click “Next”
- Click “Finish”
Now you can find a shortcut named “FileApp” in “Computer” under “Network Location” or for Windows XP in “My Network Places”.
